’Awards are like ‘Laddu’. It is like every year ‘Swayamvara’. It is not like wife. It doesn’t stay permanently. It increases the responsibility and brings in some sort of fear” – the dream merchant of Kannada cinema crazy star V Ravichandran received the prestigious IFA award for his contribution to Kannada cinema when he was interviewed by another top star Sudeep on stage.

”Cinema is a result of totality. ‘Prema Loka to Ekangi’ there is wide difference in me. Now it is breath taking situation as the success is depleting in the box office”, pointed V Ravichandran.

On his silence for four years and ‘Manjina Hani’ (starring Meera Jasmine and Namitha opposite V Ravichandran) delaying, the trailblazer of Kannada cinema pointed that he is looking for new dimension in the film. “In the last four years I am not sitting quiet. I have built up stories. I will set my targets and in lavish style the films would come one by one”, he feels.
